So Bruce went to Charleston on Friday night to work on a special project with Travis and catch some crabs. We were supposed to go to the Coastal Carolina Fair, but it rained so much, Tiffany was afraid Zach would get sick, so we stayed behind. On Saturday morning we drove down and went to get some yummy lunch at Bessinger's Bar-B-Q (LOVE the onion rings!). Afterward we went to the Pumpkin patch to get pumpkins. Zach absolutely loved it! Bruce then drove home to watch Dixie, the puppy and we went to the Coastal Carolina Fair. It's really nice, although there were a lot more people there on a Saturday afternoon than on a Friday night (that's when I went a couple of years ago). Zach loved the helicopter taking off and it kept him happy the whole time. We ate some "delicacies" like french fries, soft pretzels, corn dogs, and Travis had fried cookie dough! We walked around and looked, mainly at the RVs and saw the elephant, camel and horse rides. I think we were all so tired, we called it a day and drove back home. It was fun, though, and it's definitely my favorite fair here! See the slideshow for details!
ON A SPECIAL NOTE -- We are all saddened by the fire in North Carolina that killed 6 USC students and another from Clemson. I can't even imagine how anguished the parents are.
