Friday was a busy, but happy day. I took a special leave pass, left school at 2, came home, changed, finished packing and we were off to Bluffton, SC for Ashley's graduation. We left around 3:00 and were there by 5:15.
The campus is a satellite one for USC-Beaufort. It is so beautiful and very NEW!
Ashley was in the first nursing class to graduate from USC-B, so it was a historic occasion!
After the graduation we drove back to Beaufort (Mom is smarter than the GPS, but we ended up going AROUND to Ladys Island instead of TO it!
Nathan planned a really nice surprise party for Ashley. Nice food, cute decorations, and about 20 of us.
We stayed up talking and watching part of Jurassic Park, Part 4. No thanks! Went to bed late. Nathan had to go to work, so Bruce went with him to breakfast at the Huddlehouse.
We sat and talked to Ashley and Hannah for awhile and then left to drive to Charleston for our monthly Commissary trip. We picked up Travis, went to the Commissary, and then to Gilligan's for lunch. Yummy hush puppies and crab dip! Travis was meeting friends at Bohicket, and we had to get home for rest and SCHOOLWORK!
Ran into some rain on the way home, but always enjoy riding and talking. Life is too crazy with schoolwork at the moment!
Below are the pictures from this weekend. Put cursor over picture for caption. The new music on the blog is dedicated to my three girls who are far from home and their Mom misses doing things with them, too!!
